Yank ST3800 Non Lockup - Part2 - Help
BTW for those Mac headers (topic gone) I wouldn't give more than 75% of new cost IMO.
I sent it to your hotmail addy. That's different than the addy. I had for you.

I'd maybe ATAP the car during a few runs and see if you are reporting misfires or anything else unusual.
I started having trouble with mine when I installed a ST3800 but after swapping to the stock MAF the problem instantly went away.
Then I had problems when I installed the cam and had major lock up issues. Turns out you have to turn off the Misfire code in the PCM and it will fix that problem.

Here's what I have discovered after putting about another 100 miles on the car. (300 total). Under very light acceleration from a stop, after reaching approx. 40 mph, the converter will lock up and stay locked up up to 70 mph. After traveling 8-10 miles locked up with the cruise on 70 mph, it will unlock and I cannot get it to relock without coming back to a stop. If I accelerate moderately from a stop (not WOT) and don't get it locked up by between 40-50 mph, and continue on up to 70, it will not lock up at all. Even letting off the gas and coasting at 70 mph will not lock it up. The occasional chatter is there when locked up, but I'm not worrying about that right now. Any idea what's going on here???

Do you have a scan tool? If so is the computer commanding lock-up and the converter is not locking?
