I need advice but now please!!!
I need advice but now please!!! I want to order a converter this weekend but I've been reading alot of things that now Im not sure on what to get. The car will be more for track than street, but I have to drive it to the track so It should be a lil bit street friendly. But I want to lift the front tires so I was thinking of a 4000 or more rpm, do I need to change gears also? or built the trans or it will be fine.. and also if I need a tune for that

Well if your talking 4000 stall ,and you intend on lifting the front tires?
Yes you will probably want gears,Alot of guys in here seem to like IN THE 323 TO 373 range, I personally like 410s, And Im making the assumption the track runs wont be on street tires and your planning some suspension mode and alot of power mods ,
Personally , I would start with the trans and converter, (foundation) Then rear end (backwards to some veiws) Then I would start the suspension mods to put it on the ground, Then start the power bolts ons etc,
If your looking to get a converter of better a tranny converter combo , Check out our website ,
Im sure others may think a different order of build up but i here everyday I just got my turbo or this or that and my stock POS 4L60E took a crap and I know thats fustrating so I say work from th bottom up , Built to take the power then work to make it , Perhaps not as imediatly gratifying but alot less fustrating

Go witht the 4000 stall. If you are using spray then make sure it has the anti-ballooning plate. I use 3.73 gears with 28" tall slicks. It works great with the spray but is a little lazy on motor only. You will lift the front tire or tires if you spray out of the hole.
