TH400- blanket or shield?

Tried the search.... I know it's been discussed...

Looking to help in Momma's search for the "perfect" X-Mas gift

Looking for pro's-cons of each....
Any brand/type more user friendly than another?

CSR makes a ultrashield that covers the whole bellhousing and tranny and fits very tight i believe it is carbon fiber.I think it would be the best way for clearence to the floor and so on

you cant run a metal one not enough clearence. I just bought a rci blanket

The CSR one is made to fit the STOCK 93-02 F-body floor. If you get the right one anyway.

The CSR piece looks stout.

Does the blanket fit well, and will it do the job in a worst case scenario?
