I recently bought a 4L60E from a trans shop out of Tampa. The reason I did this was b/c it was "supposedly" built stronger than stock, and was priced pretty nice. I received it earlier today, and got home to find that the bellhousing on the new one versus the old one are different. The input shafts are also different. The bellhousing can be changed w/o issue. My concern is the input shafts. Any help on this would be great... as I'm getting angry with this entire experience. BTW, I am attempting to bolt the new trans to a 5.3L. My PTC 3000 TC seems to fit without issue, but I get opinions that this will not work properly.
