Default Car jerks on start...

When I start the car it jerks forward. Some time bad some times not at all... Just started happening last week but it seems to be getting worse when it does do it. One person suggested it may be the motor mounts but I'm scared its something more costly like the tranny... Any ideas???

The jerking forward is probably just some inertial pull but if its getting worse I would look at mounts etc
thanks

There was a thread like this a few months back. Quite a few people's cars do this, including mine. It started after my exhaust and poly mounts were installed.

I wouldn't worry about it.

I've been looking for a reason to change my mounts and this is it. lol

I'm super paranoid about been focked over by my tranny shop after having been a couple of years ago. So little things like this make me worry.

It is kinda BAD *** to see a car move just by starting it up! I have the loud mouth 1 system so it kinda scares grandma before I even put it in drive! Just kidding.

Mine does it also. the only problem is I parked it in the garage the other night and got it a little closer to the wall than usual and then my wife goes to work in it the next morning and you know what happened after that. The car hit the wall. Not hard eniugh to do any damage but DAMM It.

Don't park so close.
