Where to get a tranny rebuilt

I was wondering if there were any places that specialize in 4l60 lt1 trannies that work for a good price. Anyone have any recomendations? I am building this to take about 500 lb of torque, so nothing huge.

Alternately we can rebuild your unit if for some reason you prefer to keep your original just do the same buy priced listed on our website and we will have your transmission shipped to us

performabuilt, what converters do you use? Which stage might you recommend for my application? Is there not any discount if i provide a core?

We do not offer a discount for a core since it actually cost us about the same to ship them as we presently buy them from core dealers for we buy large volumes and gt very good prices on them ,
Our converters are our own you can do a search of several people on this site who have them just type in performabuilt converter ,People are very happy with them ,
As for the stage I would suggest our LEVEL 2 PRO RACE UNIT its plenty adequate for your application and even leaves considerable room to grow, Of course since you are and LS1 tech member you get and automatic 50 dollar discount off the listed price ,
