Default Fuddle Racing Torque Converters

Fuddle Racing is proud to be back as a Sponsor of LS1Tech. Fuddle Racing built its name here on LS1Tech by first and foremost offering unparalleled customer service and support and backing it with top quality torque converters.

However, a few months ago, we ran into some problems. I will not go into great detail, but some of you already know that I had a couple of stays in the hospital, only separated by a short time, and was unable to run the business. As I was the only one working the customer service side of the business at the time, this crippled operations almost to the point of ending the business, which would have been terrible both for you and us.

We quickly learned, as any good business does, that we needed a change. Since then we have completely reworked and retooled the customer service operations at Fuddle Racing. We have added employees who have helped to bring our customer service to levels higher than ever before. We have a new dedicated customer service line at (801) 717-3451, and you can still reach me personally on my cell at (801) 368-9655.

As far as we know, all problems with customers during this time have been resolved. If you had an issue and were unable to contact us and need further assistance, please feel free to give us a call. Anyone who was forced by our absence to pay more or get less in purchasing from another company, our deepest regrets, and we wish you the best.

Here are a few examples of what people are currently telling us about our new customer service operations:

“Thank you! I really do appreciate the feedback. I think i have made my choice and will be giving you a call in a couple weeks for sure. I mean for that price, you guys are way ahead of the ‘OTHER’ company.”
“I just thought you should know ive been discussing converters with a few company's and it was a toss up between @#$% and yourselves and you guys have blown away the competition just in customer service if nothing else .... the fact you are willing to go out of your way to help/ make changes (ls front cover) etc to make your customers happy sets you apart from the competition.”
“Will do. thanks for helping me out so that I can make this friday's races!! Look forward to getting the car back down the track!! “
“I ordered my fuddle converter last Friday and it showed up today (Thursday). Thats what I'm talkin about.”
We are here to earn your support and business again. Thank you for your time and understanding.

That's what I'm talking about. This is a nice way to gain a solid customer foundation. Nothing like a company bashing it's competitors to make itself smell rosey? John, no need for this. Continue to stand behind your product by "offering unparalleled customer service and support and backing it with top quality torque converters" and I'm sure you'll be alright.

Welcome back John. I'm still enjoying my converter I bought from you last year. Just do what you were doing when you first showed up here and things will be alright! Good luck!

Welcome back John, cant wait to get your 3200 in thats in my garage.

I am going with A LOT more power now then what I thought I would have had when I orderd.

Its the base stall you sell, how much rwhp do you think it will handle with a deep pan, cooler? I forgot what you said it will take and can't find it on your site.

No bash intended. Read it carefully. Some customers did have to pay more, and some got less. I didn't bash anyone. I have been careful in the past to stay away from that.

The power handling will really depend on how you are making the power. From your sig, I assume you are running nitrous, and that is pretty easy for the converter to take. The converter will pretty easily take you deep into the 10s and support in the 700 range with your setup. The only consideration to the Performance Series is that the HP/Street does have a considerably larger clutch that can even be locked at WOT. The larger clutch needs to be considered when the setup is making big off-WOT power like in the case of a stroker, or a blower.

Looking at ported stock casting heads that flow 265 cfm on the intake and 196 on the exhaust at .600 lift (might have that bumped up some) and going with a NASTY custom ground cam.

Not sure how much I will spray, I want to keep it all safe for the stock bottom end.

Think I am still ok for a season or two?

My only concern would be changing to a bigger stall speed to match the new cam's powerband. Remember that restalls are free under warranty, so take advantage of that if you need to. If you want to talk more in depth about stall speed, give me a call or shoot me a PM and we'll look into getting a restall going. Now is the time to do it if the converter isn't in the car yet.

A agree and feel the same. Fuddle was the worst experience with any company I've ever had.
