Tranny temp guage install Qs. I read a post about a week ago but I can't find it in a search now. Can I tap into a wire going to the PCM or do I need to install the sending unit?

Re: Tranny temp guage install Qs. To get a truely accurate reading, you'll need to tap the pan (or have a bung welded in) and use the sender that is included with the gauge. Be careful where you locate the sender, so that it doesn't interfere with the filter or anything on the valvebody.
I wouldn't trust trying to use any of the stock senders...

Re: Tranny temp guage install Qs. Iagree with georgec.just bought a tranny temp gauge.will be installing mine soon.will tap into my deep pan.Im sure this baby is running cool with the b&m super cooler that I installed also. <img border="0" title="" alt="[Big Grin]" src="gr_grin.gif" />
