Converted FWD Converters
The shop gets a 245mm core, then welds all this stuff on to make it fit(see p6 ad)
The real size of a LS1 TC is 298mm.
Just some info for ya.
The goal is try and find a core that requires the least modification, this ensures a profit. Obviously the impeller hub, turbine hub, pilot hub and drive lugs are a must! those cheapies are nothing but cheap oem's.
As a side note, the LS1 converter (with the exception of the c5) is actually 300mm. The c5 was 298.
