Default manually shifted 4l80e?

im wanting to go to a 4l80 to go behind my new motor im building. my question is can u get it manually shifted and put the lock up for the converter on a switch? and what all is need for install?

Yes you can. I think transgo sells a mvb kit for it.You will need a crossmember, dipstick and tube from a 99 up gm pickup truck, if you want the speedometer you will have to get the speedo harness for the front vss on the trans, convertor, and a flexplate.
If you keep it computer controlled you will have to get a harness adapter from speartech. And you can also use your stock shifter.
