Default turbo 350 flexplate

Are the bolt holes the only reason to use the 98 flexplate for the 350 turbo. could you just drill the holes on a 00 flexplate.

Default

my 2001 5.3 flywheel had the correct th350 bolt pattern on it, and now i have a 2003 6.0L in my s-10 and it has the correct larger 400 pattern, my stall had both large and small pattern on it

so you could use the 5.3 flexplate
