My friend has an issue with his 98 auto z28 . He had a shift kit with LT headers,3in dumped at the axle with a 2800-3000 slp recailbrated convertor and 342 gears and a small untunned cam that came out of a 2003 z06. Then he switchted to a 3600-3800 TCI superstreet fighter and it seems to be alot slower on the street . Matter of fact he was beat by stock gto on a 40 roll. He said it didnt seem to stall up and bogged a little on take off. I know little about autos since i own a 6 speed . He also wants to know what gear he needs to go with with on that stall for the 1/8 mile. Thanks for any info you can give me to help him out.

I talked with my tuner and said it has alot to do with his tune is not even close now with the new stall. Anyone else have the same problem ?
