Default Trans cooler spews ATF

It did it once about 3 years ago, check the fittings, looked good, put in some ATF, didnt do it again. Then last week it didn it gain, drove it around all day today and it didnt do it. It looks like its comming from my B&M Trans cooler, any possible ideas?

So you can't tell if the leak was coming from a line, fitting, or the cooler itself?

I'd say to clean the whole area as best as possibile and look for seepage....

It could be the clamps on the hose. If this is the case get your self some fuel injection hose clamps. They are about 3 to 4 X the $ but well worth it IMO. I never use the clamps that come with the coolers.

Yep, those worm gear type clamps are trash for this application, IMO. I always use fuel injection clamps as well. Also, that generic hose that B&M provides is not very good. I always get Goodyear hose and use that. Much thicker walls that won't allow a clamp to bottom out.
