Default Front Pump Seal Leaking Since Yank Install: Why?

Had a Yank 3500 put in a year and a half ago. Front pump seal leaked right out of the shop. Had the pump seal replaced no charge as soon as the shop could get it back in. Pump seal failed again after a few weeks and the shop pushed some grease into the seal area to stop the leak. After a year and a half, the FPS is still leaking from the yank TC install. I hope to get it fixed again under warranty (1500 total miles and this will be the third seal!)

1. What could be causing this?
2. Are these pump seals just unreliable?
3. Is this a Yank problem?

Shoddy install. It shouldn't leak at all. Mine certainly doesn't.

I've got >11K on trans since TC/front seal install with no problems.
Maybe when TC assembled it wasn't centered and there is a little runout on the pump side?
Maybe a warped flexplate?
Dunno, just throwing out some ideas.
