Life of stock tranny
Should i be looking for a transmission rebuild? I'd hope not to
or even a engine rebuild!
However, at 100k there is no telling how much longer it might last. If it was properly maintained and fluid temps were kept under ~200-210 for the majority of the trans' life, it might go another 30k miles. Maybe more. But if it was neglected all it's life, it could break any time now.

IMO, any time you buy any used car with 100k miles, you need to budget some money to fix some stuff, just in case.

How much money$$ should i look at putting into a rebuild? I'm getting the car for a d/d so i want to keep it mostly stock other than some appearance mods.
