Default Easiest way to take out trany?!?

I have a 99 ss and im trying to take the transmission out and replace it with another. It has been a pain. I cant reach the top 2 or 3 bolts, near the top of the head. I just wanted some tricks of the trade or talk to someone who has experienced this and found out any short-cuts. thanx

get the rear of the trans as low as you can get it, and try and tilt the engine up in the front so itll expose the bolts more.

get a good long extention (24"+) and a swivel joint/swivel socet and have at em.
