Holy apeshit, why? Besides hard parts, the best parts to do the entire tranny from front to back is around $350-$400. That means you paid $2,200 in labor.

I'm paying $250 in labor for my rebuild. All in all, it will cost about $1100.

I'm having a friend rebuild it with good parts like 5 pinion planets, shift kit, sleeved input drum, etc.

Rebuild kit with racing clutches, gaskets/seals, steels, bushings, is between $250 & $300. Pump rebuild kit about $35. Upgrade to 5 pinion planetaries front and rear $250-$300. A good converter $650 and up. Transgo shift kit $80. Upgrade boost valve $20. Upgrade sprag $45. Upgrade to Beast Sunshell $50. New reverse input drum with wide 2-4 band $100.

That's roughly $1500-$1600 in parts alone without labor, if you want to do it right. I might have forgotten a few things too like fluid etc...

$2400 w/o stall... but this baby will last well into the low 10's with an insane warranty
