Question D/D Stall Speed

Newby, So hello to all. I know this ? has been beat to death already, but my trans is out of the car waiting for me to decide what TC to use. 98 camaro LS1, 4L60e 3:54 gears, motor is stock & no plans to up grade. Guys this is my D/D 150 miles a day to work & back alot of stop & go. It will never be a track car, I think the stock TC. is 1600 or 1700 what I'm looking for is close to the same drivability & mileage, but able to roast the tires, the stock TC. is just not in the power band, most of you talk of useing 3200-3800 for a D/D ,others that I have talked with @ tranny shops are recommending 2500 & no higher than 2700, there's alot of guys on this forum with experence to let me know what setup I'm after, Thanks for any input.

I have the SS3200. It's really not noticeable at all until you get into it. It's even too tight for me since I have now installed a cam. The SS3200 would probably fit your needs well.
