Question How much for a trans flush is everyone paying?

How much for a trans flush is everyone paying? Does $158.99 seems high? I do my own but my wife was charged $149.95 + tax.

Probably a little on the high side, but not out of the question. A trans flush usually goes for right around $100+tax around here, including the new filter/fluid.

go to your local advance auto and pick up the haynes repair manual for 93-02 firebirds and camaros. it has everything you need to know about maintaining the car yourself - pics and detailed instructions. just used it to flush my auto trans in my 02 formula.

Definitely, since I had my tranny AND coolant flushed for only a few dollars more this past summer.

Would it be unwise to disconnect the cooler line and run it out there a little at a time as you added new fluid? I only ask this because I used that method to verify my feed line when installing my cooler. It would take a while due to the volume it pumps...I think it would be impossible to keep up while adding fluid. But in little bursts, like 1 quart at a time, would if cycle all the old stuff out? Just a thought.
