Single Disc VIG for Blower Car???
The car is a VRE 383, LT4 AFR heads, D1SC procharger maxing the blower out (so about 15lbs on this motor)
I am leaning toward the Vig since my brother has a 3600 in his Ls1 bolt on car and has always performed great. I have heard that the single, Triple, and Five disc clutches inside the converter really don't help handle power but handle locking up the converter in overdrive. From what I have been told since I have a 99% street car the single disc will work fine???
The car will be backed by a 3:42 rearend and I just want tight converter, the 3600 with 3:73 gears felt loose to me.

The car SHOULD be done at the breach of summer, just enough time to have fun. What sucks is I will be taking it to Ed with the 10-bolt most likely, I could buy a 12-bolt right now but I have too many other things to buy. Looks like I will just spin for a few months then goes on the 12-bolt with the Bogarts
Jeff also raced Duke (the guy who tinted his windows, lol) he has the 69 camaro with the LS1 and the MS3 6-speed with 4:10's they were side and side basically with Jeff barely edging him out. Closes race he has had he told me.
Phil was out there and he beat the cobra from a Roll as well, but Hadley was driving (thats an extra 350lbs no problem, no offense to him but hes a pretty big guy) Phil is letting hadley tune that car, I have two words Ed Wright. Do it once do it right IMO.
There are a couple of kids from paragould who have bought LS1 cars that are factory 99-00 models that think they are the ****, other than that thats about it.
I can't wait to see Chris's car with the 6.0 in it, I wonder if the extra 18 cubes or so will get him a 6, I believe it will.
