Default Quick question about TH350 swap

i searched all over but never could find a guide for using the stock shifter for the tranny. anyone know of a write up about how to do a TH350/400 swap and keep the car looking as stock as possible?

yeah, i read that sticky but couldnt find exactly what i was looking for. maybe i am just seeing things wrong. main thing is i wont be using a manual valve body and it seems most of the people use one and put in a manual console and keep it stock looking that way.

With a forward valve body you can use the stock a4 console and shifter. I have it and only difference is 2nd on the indicator is 1st and so on. Still appears stock though. Even used the factory cable.

I use a stock A4 shifter/console as well.I modded the shifter to work with my RMVB with my TH400 and it looks just like a factory auto, and i was a M6 before. In the thread i posted it says how to mod the factory shifter to work with a RMVB
