Default TH400 shifter question

I have a quarter stick for my reverse valve body t brake th400.This gated quarter stick has a long range between park and 3rd and is making it a huge pain to fit in the car and look good with the shifter console on.I know I have to raise the shifter from the floor board to clear.Should I just get a ProRachet to fit better since it has hardly any movement and will make it easier clearing coming out of the console??Any one have any pics of there shifters installed???????Thanx guys

I know that KP's Pro Stick (basically the exact same thing but B&M) has spacers to make it more flush with the console. If you go to his homepage you can check that out. I'm going to be doing the same thing soon...I hope that it's not that hard. You're on a M6 console like me right?? Good luck..
