TH400/3600 stall in a DD?
I was wondering if anyone is running a th400 with a stall in their daily driver. How does it run? Is it annoying or is it comfortable? A friend of mine is giving me a good deal on a stalled 400 'cause my 4l60e is starting to die on me . I need to think about it because my bird is the only transportation I have. Will this combo kill me on gas? What do you guys think?

depends on if you get a good converter. I have a 3400 in my GN right now and its not noticeable at all. Only because its a very effiecient converter. Im in the process of putting a th400 in with a 3600. Just make sure you get a good efficient converter and it will be fine.

With the 3.23 gear it won't be bad on the highway.
I was running 3.73s with a 26 inch tire and I generally kept it around 60 on the highway, about 3000 RPMs.
Mine is not a daily driver now. With the TH400 and 4.10s with a 28 inch tire driving it everyday would put me in the poorhouse within the month.

If I just drove around town and such, very minimal highway cruising I'd hands down have a TH400in my car, but I travel too much so M6 FTW for me. Ill have a auto back in my car one day.
