torque converter?

torque converter? Ok so heres my dilema, my car makes a pretty bad vibration between 60 and 80 mph once i let off the gas. Already checked out the balance, u-joints, and the tranny mount. Took it to the shop yesterday the guy took off the drive shaft and the noise was still there. then he took the tranny off and it went away. HE said he could take the pan off and if there is metal shavings in it the tranny is bad but if theres not its my torque converter. So he took it off and there was no metal in the pan. So my question is this is the first time i have been to this autoshop and just want your guys feedback to wheter you believe that is the problem. FYI my car is a 02 z28 A4 with 127,xxx, thanks
