Default trans problem shifting??? please help

the car is a 99 a4. i recently installed a transgo hd2 and a 3200 stall converter. used all parts from the kit and drilled plate holes all to .93 ( with supplied bit). at full throttle the 1-2 shift is great but 2-3 dives through redline and bounces off the rev limiter before it will shift in drive or manually shifting. if you shift manually at low rpms it takes a sec or two to shift as well. my only guess is i need a larger plate hole for the 2-3 shift location??? does a 3000-3200 count for the hi-stall setup? or is this problem electronic? please give me some helpfull advice i will greatly appreciate it. thanks

If it didn't do it beforehand, my guess is that you've done something wrong.

You might want to have the tune looked at. I know that your stall is not that high but it might be effecting the 2-3 shift. You will probably want to have 2-3 shift tables adjusted a bit. This is pretty common with stall converters unless you have a 3-4 clutch that is on it's way out. Vince

im going to scan/check the shift command asap. anyone know where to get the best tune in sc??? the only part i did not use was one of the brass washers as it felt too tight. nothing is installed wrong unless i need the plate hole for the 2-3 shift out to the max. it seems like this could be the problem. assuming the shift command is correct could that be it. (not enough fluid transfer fast enough)???? it would shift deep before, but now it bounces the rev limit. its the fact that manually shifting hesitates for a sec. that i dont understand. i appreciate any suggestions

You might want to go to the list of sponsors and enter your zip. It will direct you to the closest one. Or post this in the tuning section and see if one chimes in. Vince
