hes also the one paying for the tranny rebuild so I dont wanna **** him off, im not gonig voer a 3k stall period. if a 2800 will work I'll prolly end up getting that but no alrger than the 3k. the yank seems to be a nice stall for 525 for the 3k.

ok heres a question, would the 228R on a 114 ls1 help with getting a smaller stall?

Also, anyone use a 224R?

my ss3600 revs a little higher, but very nice. It is my only car I drive, and it is very nice. I wouldnt say it feels like stock, because when you mash it you get stuck in your seat (no more climbing or dead spots). It is totally better than stock. These guys are not trying to point you in the wrong direction, the ss3600 is very nice and tight converter.

it is a little pricey, but you get what you pay for. Worth every penny.

It'll feel damn close to stock. I hardly notice my 3500 stall unless I'm in reverse or mashing the gas

You want some good advice?

Order either a Vig2800 or a vig3200. See they underrate thier stalls so a vig2800 is really a 3200 stall and a vig3200 is closer to a 3600 stall. Either that or ask TCI or Fuddle if they will put a 3500 stall in 2800 box and ship it out for you

Good luck.
