Tci Converter HELP ME!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Default Tci Converter HELP ME!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I am curious on this one and i was hoping sombody could offer me some help....heres the deal my buddy has a brand new tci converter part number 243105 that i can get for next to nothing...now my delema i checked the part number on the tci web site and it says that it will work on a 4l60E up to 97 and on a C5 Corvette from 97 to 2005, i have a 2000 Camaro is there anyway this thing will be able to be used in my car??

Sounds like an LT1 converter.To answer your question, no it won't fit.

Agree no it will not fit made for wrong shaft size

Would swapping the input drum solve this? If he switched to a LT style input drum?

No its quite a bit more complicated, Different input drum, pump stator. bell housing, and some sort of adapter would be needed to bolt to the flex plate also
