Wont go into Drive?
Wont go into Drive? I have a stock 2000 T/a A4 with about 13-14 thousand miles on it, and i rarely drive it. Just the other day i started the car, and let it warm up, and then put in D and it wont move, and i wasnt giving it gas. Then i gave it gas to about 2,000rpm, and it was only going about a mile an hour. What could be wrong? I never redlined it, or drove it hard, or pasted 90mph.

Are you sure it wasnt actually in 3rd gear limp mode it will feel like you hav to give it alot of gas to move untill you get going and will not change gears, I would scan for codes first,

Well i tried it agein, and i cannot get it to do it agein. So i am guessing it had a bad day, but just to make sure i am going to take it down to GM, and have them check it out.
