Question triple and single disc???

what are the benefits/disadvantages of a triple disc converter vs a single disc? The shop I'm getting it installed at said for my setup a vig 3600 triple disc would work great.

Well a multi disc converter has more holding area , However you will need to tune out or other wise disable PWM to avoid chatter, And really the only real advanatge is if you plan on locking the converter at WOT which is generally not desirable performance wise unless except in some cases with NOS and or turbo applications and I have heard to can be and advantage at higher RPM to increase the converters efficency after stall speed has been reached and torque multiplication is finished in those applications but have never seen the numbers to prove it so its hearsay
