Default Best Stall for DD

I'm looking into getting a stall for my A4 with the mods in my sig so considering my car is a DD what is the best stall speed 3200 or 3500?

That would depend hwy driving no not at all , Aroun town would depnd on the converter how efficent and tight it is , People I have spoken with using our converter say they are excellent daily drivers even at the 3500 stall.

Not really, but to maximize your power band with your cam I would go with the 3500, you will be fine daily driving a 3500.

I have a 3400 from Yank and I don't consider it good for daily driving. One way is 34 miles in stop and go, with occasional streches allowing 60-80 mph speeds. I don't have as large a cam as you though.

I would think your cam is a little big for DD, but if you already have it, you might as well keep it.
I personally, for stop and go traffic, would probably go with a 3200 stall, maybe one which is a little loose.

I DD a Yank SS4000 with 3.23's and I think it's a great DD. I don't have a bigger cam yet, but I will soon. Even with my minimal bolt-ons, it is so much fun to drive. My next converter will be a PT4400.

I can't believe you DD that cam without a stall! . I hated DD'ing mine without a stall, it was hard on my brakes, I had to have them down firmly at a light to stop the car from inching forward. Too much crap for me. Driveability definitely increased with the stall, MPG went down though, thats the trade off. I have an SSF 3500 with a 2.5 STR, I love it, just gotta get use to 12 MPG in the city, but I still break 24 on the hwy.
