Default 4000 or 4200 stall?

MS4 and all the supporting parts. My 2.73's will be staying put since right now I just can't afford a new rear end. I'm between the Yank PE 4200 or the SS 4000. At this point I'm thinking FTW, what's another 200 rpm? Might as well get the 4200. What do you guys think? Also, I know this kills my options for running some juice later on. If I decided that I want to spray, do you all think I could get by with a 3600?

3600 stall is going to make a huge difference on a 2.73 car. Assuming that you are trying to protect the rear, a 3600 will provide as much torque as you'll want to put through it and handle the spray. It will also be a bit more tolerable to drive than a 4000+ stall in town.

For max NA street car, I'd go YTP 4000.

Yeah, if I decide that I'm going to spray in the future it will be 3600. However, I think I'm leaning against it. So, it's still 4000 or 4200?

I sent a pm to Dave at Yank. We'll see what he thinks.

i'd say 4000 for your app... it will be a huge difference keeping your 2.73's

The higher STR in the SS4000 might be a better choice if it's mostly a street driven vehicle.
