Tools for a4 removal and replace?
What general tools am I going to need for R&R of a transmission in my garage? I'm also doing my oil pan gasket, motor mounts and my LT header installation.I know I'm going to need
ft lbs Tq Wrench
in lbs Tq Wrench ( Mabye )
Trans floor jack
4 pretty high jack stands 24"+
Jack, obviously
2 24" 1/2 extensions ( get at top trans housing bolts )
Engine hoist ( not cherry picker, feet sit on strut tower housing/fenders )
Sockets and Wrenches ( I have a **** ton of them )
What else am I going to need for R&R of the transmission, motor mounts, oil pan gasket and LT headers? Any help would be appreciated. Thanks!
btw, frank if your make it in here, your getting a call for a lvl2 on friday, or this weekend if ya'll are open.

a swivel is a big help on the belhousing bolts. i call it a wobble head, some call it different.
if you're getting a performabuilt tranny, you'll need a T50 torx bit for the inside bellhousing bolts.
if its got the stock torque converter bolts in it, they are allen head, but i dont remember what size. good luck gettin those bitches out but PLEASE take your time and dont strip em out. if you havent already, go to your local hardware store and get (3) grade 8 bolts-M12 X 1.5 (15mm long if you have the stock flexplate)
