Ok so I did another swap and all was well drove it it shifted fine no problems..
Then I gave it to the owner and he drove it home (hwy) and he called 30 min later saying he just lost 3rd gear he said it felt like it went into nuetral.. well he got it home checked tranny fluid and added about a quart..tried to drive this mourning and he said he lost second??? WTF tHIS HAS NEVER HAPPENED!!
He says its not like its slipping he said it just feels like its shifting into nuetral..
So I havent looked at it yet but, It sounds like the linkage might need to be adjusted?? The only thing I can think of is its not a mvb but they said you can shift it manually, so i didnt hook up the vacuum line FROM THE SOLONOID ON THE TRANNY...Is this a problem?? Thanks in advance

 

Hook up the vaccum line first , Its not a mvb as you say , then when they say shift manually they mean hold gears down and downshift at any rpm , But for up shifts it would still need the modulator
