cooler without a stall?
im considering running nitrous and have read about how it kills the trans.
i've decided to go 75 shot with the shift points at 6,000, first gear block out with window set 3K-5,800K
i figure with this setup the trans will last me a while, especially only spraying at the track a few times a month. But my question is, would a cooler help the tranny last a little bit longer, even though i've got the stock stall?

Sure it can. Get an aftermarket cooler and bypass the one in the radiator, but it isn't recommended for cold winter driving. In that case you would still want it going through the radiator.

I have a stock tranny with a 24k cooler...my tranny was on its way out and I strongly belive the cooler has helped for the past year...and yes, here in houston we dont need to worry about winter lol..wait actually this year we kinda did have a little winter
During the heat of the summer, in stop and go traffic on the freeway, my tranny never goes above 180
