Default 4L60E Shifting Issue

I have an LS1/4L60E combo that runs great MOST of the time. I've gone to my local drag strip the last few weeks and notice that on some occassions my trans will short shift (about 5000 rpm) after 2-3 runs, then will be OK (shift @ 6500) for 2-3 more runs, then will short shift again. I leave the shifter in "3" for all my runs, my tuner has looked for the problem before and all seems OK but this is driving me nuts, is there any kind of shifter linkage adjustment that may be causing this? - or does anyone have any other ideas?

Thanks

If it shifts early thats definatly a tuning issue but to determine it you will likley have to get you tuner to actually mess with it while its happening which may be hard to do

Your welcome but as said if its making the shift it has to be because it was commanded so you are looking for a tuning/electronic issue for sure.
