Default Has anyone ever used an Art Carr converter???

My buddy owns the company and he's talked me into trying one in my Vette. He tells me that the materials and workmanship that go into his converters are superior to the competition. I've never seen or heard of anyone using one in a vette, but he tells me they have sold a lot of them, mostly to fbody guys. They have a great reputation with the old schoolers, so I guess I'm up for being the test mule. I'd appreciate any input!

Art Carr has been in the transmission and converter business for a LONG time. I'm 56, and remember his name on race components back, well, a long, long time ago....Not familiar w/his LS-1 application stuff, though. WJ.

Yeah, thanks for the reply. I'm hoping at least someone will have one of these things and can tell me how great it is. I trust him, but everyone thinks their own product is great.

Never had anything form them in my T/A but the stuff I bought for my 87 Mustang GT was awesome!

Just make sure you are talking with the REAL Art Carr. They are based out of So-Cal. NOT the company in Texas. They are not the Real Art Carr, they bought the name and now there are lawsuits in action.
