Default Install of 4.10 gears

When installing 4.10 in place of my 3.42. on my 01 Z28 is there a special sensor that I will need to purchase? I have an HPP3 to adjust for the 4.10 but i was told by a guy at the dealer that there was an additional sensor that needs to be replaced? I thought I would just need the ring and pinion and a standard install kit (crush sleeve, gasket, bearings etc.) Thanks.

There is no special sensor to replace.

You will have to grind down the thrust plate though. With the thicker 4.10 ring gear, you won't be able to get plate back into the differential to hold the axles away from eachother.
