Need a new trans
Need a new trans Hey guys, my new setup has a little over 900miles on it. I did a 383 stroker that I have yet to dyno. I had the 4l60E trans rebuilt supposedly with all Hughes parts, the builder said it should be able to handle up to 500hp. I was waiting to put on at least 1k miles before going on a dyno but the other day my trans starting slipping. It slips in every gear and when it gets into 4th gear it vibrates so bad like its going to shake apart.
So I was looking at the TCI Street Fighter and Super Street Fighter. I would like to know if it is worth spending the money on the Super Street Fighter since it can handle more power.

205cc Trick Flow heads

CC 1.6
6" rods
SRP forged pistons
Eagle forged crank
42lb injectors
Aero A100 and Walboro intank
MSD 6AL and Opti
10.25:1 CR
3000 TCI stall
Moser 3.5 D/S
Moser 9" with 3.73 and Detriot locker
