Default 4L60E Changes (builders?)

Ok i need to know what years the 4l60e had significant changes to it after 1997.

i know that the valvebody gaskets changed in 2001 due to the TCC circuit going full annular.

I want to know when the epc (force motor) changed. Ive seen two different styles on the 97+ 4l60e's. I also want to know if those different force motors change be interchanged. Say i swap a 2000 trans into a 2004 vehicle that had the later EPC, would the transmission work properly?

and the million dollar question, what style input shaft is used on at 2003 4.2 inline six?

The epc/pcs changed in the 04 and later models along with the internal wiring harness. They can be swapped either way without an issue. As far as the input shaft what kind of vehicle are we talking about?

I did a quick search on eBay and found these pictures. The pictures are not always right but I did a search for the engine and trans. I think they might be correct. I would have to guess 298 on the input. Good luck. Vince
