Converter Bolt Access???

Converter Bolt Access??? I have to get to the torque converter bolts on my car while the transmission is still in the car.
I was under the car today, but I have nooooo idea how to get to them. Can anyone help me out???

Re: Converter Bolt Access??? Remove the Starter by the 2 long bolts on the bottom of it. after this is out of the way you will see the access port on the passenger side of the trans. It will be much easier if you have the cross member disconected from the car so the tranny drops down.

Re: Converter Bolt Access??? I got my converter bolts out through the starter hole as well. Two bolts dropped the starter. Then I work with an allen on a 3/8's ratchet to break the bolts loose. A friend turned the motor over to where I needed, and then I broke them loose and removed them. I will tell you this much. I bought new bolts from the dealer when I installed my converter. So much nicer. It was a normal bolt as well as an allen. I like!

Re: Converter Bolt Access??? Kim what year is your car? I have yet to see any Allen bolts on my 01. My Flexplate bolts where also metric while other people have said theres where allen.
