Transmission Conversion
I have a nicely Built LT1 4L60E, and I have a stock LS1 4L60E that I got for real cheap.
This is what I am thinking..
Take both them apart, switch the Wiring, Solenoids, and the Imput Shaft of the LS1 Tranny to the LT1 Tranny, keeping all the good stuff in it, upgrade some of it, and then bolt it to my 402 LSX Engine and drop it in the Car.
I have a builder that has no problem doin all of this, we are both researching it. The reason we are switching the Imput Shafts out is so I can use my LS1 Stall in it to make it easier. I want to keep the LT1 Tranny cause it will mount up in the Car where it should when I do my swap.
What type engine are you using and LS1 or early style?

Basically the Intention is to take the LT1 Tranny and bolt it to the LSX Block, use the LSX Convertor.
