What would be the best all around gear and stall in this C5 corvette. built 4l60e A4? Would like to beat one of those monster supras on the highway.
What would be the Ideal racing rpm range based on this chart?
4000 to 6500 rpm?
4500 to 6000 rpm?
2.73 or 3.42?
Torque plays a huge part in this one.
This not my car, but if I could get enough feedback this could be my ideal setup.

a 4l60e can hold that if built right....
problem is 2.73 will pull to 180...you need to decide what mph your going to be running to...a local guyhas stock stall in his ls2 vette and 2.73 and sprays 350 on a stock motor...pulles hard to 180....
on the highway you want a smaller stall, is this n20 car or boosted? is it only street running?

the car belongs to AMERICAN_HP. Forged 402 with Kenne bell 2.8H between 16psi to 18psi. Only difference is that mine would be an auto. His chart is on the kenne bell web site but I can't link to it. The torque is just insane from 2000rpm its already over 800tq!!

auto's aren't meant for highway runs man... i can't see ANY 4l60-e beating one of the 800+ hp supra's on the highway. At the local track, yes. but the auto's get hot, and aren't meant for highway style racing. I would go six speed.
