Vigilante Owners ...Idle question ?
Hey Guys,
I just had a 3200-3400 Vig installed in my car this past week. I love the stall ,but my car seems to idle to low when its in drive . Around 500 rpms. Have any of you guys had this problem ? If so, how did you correct it ? Did you just turn your idle screw in or out til it ran the way you wanted or do you have to have some special programming or something ? Thanks in advance.

I had that problem after I put mine in. After driving it awhile the car relearned and idled fine. Try driving around some more. Good Luck

My stall has been in for about 3 months now, and mine still does it. I just pop it into neutral at red lights and stuff if it's bugging me. It doesn't mean there's a problem though.
Yes, I had this problem with my Vig3200. I tried the idle relearn and just dealt with it for a few days, but that was not acceptable / didn't work right.
What I finally did was raise the idle by adjusting the set screw on the throttle body. This screw will slightly lift (or close) the valve in the throttle body, when you open it up it will raise the idle. The screw is a little tough to get to since it is under the TB and is a pretty small size allen-head.
Be careful, if you open the screw too much you will get an SES light (I don't recall the code #) that says something like "Throttle Speed Too High".
