Default How to build a A4 to take manual shifts....

I am wondering since i have an A4 and ive already (apparently, but fixed) blew a couple gaskets in my trans by playing through the gears in my auto, and actualy didnt get an answer from the dealer if that was the problem, if its not is it ok to shift with the A4, and if not what is needed to be able to build it where it can take shifting through 1,2,D when driving.....

Dump the POS 4L60 and get a 200R4 w/full manual valve body. There's no way to build the 4L60's to handle much of anything...to keep OD but have a trans that will handle a great deal amount of power the 200R4's are starting to become a very nice option.

Sell your car and buy a M6 car.That was an easy answer <img border="0" title="" alt="[Razz]" src="gr_tounge.gif" />

No really,it's not good to manually backshift an auto. For upshifting you should let the tranny shift itself. If you want a stronger shift do a shift kit.
