pics after trans willnot shift into 3rd

as most have seen in the other thread, my trans will not shift into third gear... well I dropped the pan, and this is what I found.
here are some pics after dropping the pan.
I hope this isnt what I think it is.... im going to be sick...

Looks like it needs to come apart. 3-4 clutches are probably done for. Looks like a piece of friction material that you are holding. A very "cooked" piece.

I changed my fluid on Friday after my trans would not shift the 2-3 shift without hitting the limiter at the track the week before and my pan didn't look that bad but the magnet was similar with the amount of **** on it and now the trans seems to shift as good as it has ever now that it was changed
