Do I need to lower shiftpoints
Do I need to lower shiftpoints Ok heres the deal I added more nitrous to my car. Mods are in sig. Ever since I added more spray the car bangs the limiter on 2-3 shift. I let off and it went into gear. The 1-2 shift is fine. Im wondering if maybe I need to get the trans 2-3 shift to command at 6000 instead of 6600. I have my window switch set to 6400 off. Its just with the extra spray the converter probably flashes alittle higher and the shift point might need to command lower. I dont think its the trans as it shifts fine without nitrous and on my lower shot. The trans also shifts fine under part throttle and is a pretty new built unit.
I have the same issue with mine,but mine doe's it on the 1-2 shift also.They tell me it is the shift point's because it has not been changed from when it was n/a,so hopefully it will fix it. I believe you have the same issue as well. 
I believe it tags the limiter on the 1-2 shift sometimes but thats usually fine I guess ill have the shiftpoints commanded lower. The trans was fine on the old 125 kick but with the bigger shot its just hitting the limiter. Anyone have any other ideas?
Remember when lowering the shift points to lower not only rpm but also the mph. We had a customer with exactly the same complaint as yourself and that did fix his problem. Vince
