trans temp

whats a decent trans temp while cruising? i installed a deep trans pan and a trans temp gauge. it hasnt reached 180 yet, hovers around 160. does that seem a little low?

With a 24K cooler mine doesn`t go above 150 when it gets below 50* ..

180 & up <img border="0" title="" alt="[Eek!]" src="gr_eek2.gif" /> I would get worried. You in the right spot, watch it when you race though!

well, my old trans got up to 250 when i took it road racing <img border="0" title="" alt="[Smile]" src="gr_stretch.gif" /> maybe thats why it died <img border="0" title="" alt="[Big Grin]" src="gr_grin.gif" />
