Default Installing adj master cylinder...

I'm installing the McLeod master cylinder today on the stock clutch. Where should I set the engagement point?

I've got mine set up rather high, so that there is (what feels like) one inch of free pedal when you have the clutch disengaged. The free pedal at the top when the clutch is fully engaged then feels like it's a half inch. Basically just adjust it up so that it's comfortable to how you shift your car.

Mine is setup that way because as I'm pushing down I can snap the gear I want and snap the clutch back up. It's just a timing thing basically. Just make it comfortable and you'll be fine with it.

Don't be suprised if you need to re-adjust the MC after you install the new clutch.
Just a heads up. <img border="0" alt="[cheers]" title="" src="graemlins/gr_cheers.gif" />

Thanks!

The stock clutch is only going to be in for a few more days, but I figured I'd install this first.
