Default A good trans cooler.

I well be upgradeing to a bigger stall from stock and dont know what tranny cooler would be best and to add to it my Z is a daily driver so there is alot of stop and go.

Brand does not matter that much but size does get the biggest you can fit

plate type coolers are more efficent than fin & tube design.

Agreed you get more BTU with less size with the plate type. I have seen this tested and shown.

Tru-Cool 4490. Very large cooler. Its a stacked plate design.I put it on my car and it works very well. Keeps trans temps between 170 and 190. Even in stop an go. I think it one of the biggest that will physically fit in front of the radiator.
Don't go with tube and fin. I heard that the tube and fin coolers were tested, and they actually heated up the fluid lol.

I went with the 24,000 GVW B&M Supercooler and I've had NO problems with my tranny.
