bumb...im sorry if this is a stupid question but i cannot find a aftermarket shifter for a 4l60e...can amybody help?

I've never seen one and I looked quite awhile for one. I don't think they make one, but I wonder what people use when they go to a manual vale body.

any 700-R4 shifter will work, same gear pattern, the truck guys have already been doing this. Just look in any Summit or Jegs book and pick one out.... your only constraints will be where/how you want to mount it and how you want it to lok under the console.

I put a Dual Gate Hurst shifter on my 4l60e with Compushift electronics.

Would you be able to post a picture? I saw that at Summit, but they claimed it would not work with a factory console.They could be mis-truthing, though.
